Inge made me do it ;-) (mini cross body bag)

Ever since Karl Lagerfeld showed models wearing small hard framed cross body bags on the catwalk I knew I wanted to be a part of this mini trend, however, Chanel is not an option so I stalked for a similar bag on eBay, Asos Marketplace and Etsy.

I noticed this bag about two weeks ago (£5.00 on Asos Marketplace) but was a little hesitant to add to my basket until Inge posted her Link Love blog post last week.

The bag arrived today,it is not perfect but does let me play with the trend. I threw the bag on over my new oversized dress because I thought the play of proportions could be quite fun BUT what do you think? Would you prefer the bag worn as a shoulder bag or without the strap? Do I look as though I borrowed DD handbag?

I think it is really cool! I am not sure about the strap length for you. Would love to hear from others on this.

Suz and Scarlet, I do worry about the strap. Here is the inspiration shot, the bags are worn short but I do wonder how the look translates in the real world.

That's a super little bag, Jules, I love the boxy shape, chain strap (don't mind the shorter length at all!) and colour. So, all of it!
And it looks stunning, just stunning with your oversized dress. What a gorgeous piece.
