If I'm right that looks like a Great Pyrenees. They are a shepard and are great with babies with cloven hooves in the high country --- very gentle until they run into a lion or a bear.
Thank you for the sweet happy photo. I agree with Elly that this must be a herding breed. Our little sheepdog doesn't have a hunting gene at all and thinks squirrels and rabbits are puppies to play with.
