Increasing the Wardrobe - YouLookFab Forum

As we are heading into our first big storm this fall, it is starting to feel like winter. As usual, I realize when the temps frop that I do not have enough clothing to keep me warm and end up on a big shopping spree. I feel like I doubled my wardrobe this week. Here's a sneak peak of what I have coming my way (all bought online)

Can't wait to hear how your new purchases work out Khris! I'm particularly interested in the ponte knit pants - can't quite get my brain around how to wear them, or what to be looking for in terms of style/shape.

Meanwhile, I bought my first-ever non-black handbag - it's not a cross-body bag, and it's not yellow. I couldn't help myself, ended up buying a green purse.

Meanwhile, when I was fiddling around with purses in the store - I tried a yellow one, and happened to be wearing a plum coloured sweater - and the combination looked really good. I'm wondering now about your ON Plum Cord Tunic/Dress and thinking your new yellow cross-body bag is going to look really neat against it!

Joy- I liked that one, too. I think the only reason I didn't order that was because I wanted gold toned hardware. It was incredibly difficult to find on a small yellow cross body bag for some reason.
My Target sweater should be here tomorrow, and the boots on Friday. I *really* hope those boots work out!
VC- I'm hoping the ponte knit pants work like skinny jeans for me. I never thought that I would like the skinnies for myself, but I really do. In fact, I am planning on going out and getting a pair of skinny cords this week, just to wear with my boots on miserable days. I can't believe that you have never had a non-black purse! Green was my second choice for color, and I may end up with green for spring
I chose the yellow because it is a good contrast for a lot of the colors that I wear in winter- the plums/purples, brown, dark teal and greens.
