I'm off to dinner in 15 minutes but I really wanted to share this with you straightaway.

I just got a call from New York: Angie, Laura, Tanya and Maya wishing me a happy birthday. I'm bubbling with excitement now!!! It was absolutely wonderful to talk with them on the phone, and hearing their voices and different accents and lively stories. They are all incredibly sweet and outgoing and I now am looking forward to attending a 'real' YLF get-together even more.

They just finished breakfast, already did a little clothes swapping (great stuff, but I promised not to tell too much, I'm sure we'll be reading more about it in the write-up next week;-), and were about to hit the shops. Tea breaks and cupcakes were high on today's agenda too.

Ladies, I'm so glad I got a chance to meet you on the phone* and I'm really touched you cooked up this surprise for me!!
