I just traveled for a week to look at potential apartments in a new city. I was feeling green for spring and St. Patrick’s Day, but didn’t realize until I hung up my clothes at our Air BnB that I had inadvertently packed an unexpected but fun capsule of green, orange/red (it’s the color J. Crew calls “vibrant flame,” which I love), and graphic black and white. I found myself creating combos I hadn’t imagined that really seemed to work well.
The colors are muddier in the pic than in real life; the folded green sweater, eg, is a true acid green and the pants are very electric red/orange.
From L to R:
& Other Stories zebra buttondown
Ann Taylor green sweater A-line skirt
& Other Stories dark floral buttondown (the only item combining the green AND the red/orange)
J. Crew Hayden linen (lined) pants in vibrant flame
Zara oversized blouse
& Other Stories black silk buttondown
Vertigo Mondrian-pattern buttondown I’ve had forever and love
Folded: COS green short sleeved mock turtleneck from this past year
These were supplemented with some sweaters (black and green), jeans, black pants, etc.
Thanks for looking!
