Perfect for your style!

What an excellent haul! All are elegant and carefree outfits that exude Angie energy. The cut of that citron top is so graceful and pretty on you. Love the swoosh factor of the blue patterned dress, and the casual chic vibe of the jacket outfit.

Thank you so much Angie, for sharing the pictures. Absolutely stunning!

I would never ever have picked that blue patterned dress of the rack ... and yet it looks stunning on you! A good reminder to try to bust myself out of my rut whenever possible. Thank you!

I would have never considered citron but it just shines on you. Great finds all the way round.

Such great pieces for you! I looked at that top in white but didn’t love it on me - a combination of not my best sleeve or neckline in that fabrication, I think. On you it’s perfect! And of course the jacket and dress are so good.

The Zara near me is one of the better ones, I think. It’s kept pretty neat and fairly well-stocked, even though it’s not a large store. The staff is pretty friendly. The fitting rooms are not great, I agree. You’d think they could have an employee clean those mirrors from time to time!

When I was there trying and returning that pinstripe dress, I spied a pair of breezy pants and grabbed them to try — I didn’t even bother with the fitting room, so my expectations were low. But at home I ended up pleasantly surprised with the fit, and think I’ll be keeping them. The color looks good with my blues, whites and blacks. Terrible picture but it was just a quick try-on with no styling or makeup or anything! Even a laundry hamper, LOL.

Big LOVE for all the items you've got-and thanx for showing us in person! I knew the dress will look amazing on You:-), and wow the citron items make a whole capsule, the bouclé jacket will go great over the column of citron, too!

WOW! The citron looks amazing on you with your hair and pearls! What a great jacket too. Loving the mixing and matching! The dress is so great too!

Gorgeous citron top - reminds me of my brown open weave one from Zara (also with tapered hems & a neat neckline to stop it from overwhelming me).

Zara is one of the few brick & mortar shops I still visit out here - ironically moreso than when I was living in the UK (since I pass it more frequently here)! All the rest of my clothes shopping is done online - agreed that they do have some gems, but it's important to touch them in-person before deciding to commit or not.

Back in town, and just responded to your blog post before I saw this one. Wow, these are all fantastic on you! Your hair is looking super fab--the length just gets better and better.

Thanks so much, everyone! Such sweet and kind words

Janet, those are great!

Zaeobi, I am nodding along.

UPDATE: Tried the citron top on this morning. Going to have it taken in a bit at the site seams - and that will close the gaping armholes a bit too.

Love the tweed jacket and pale jeans outfit

Very late here, but had to say that you look amazing in each every new piece. All are perfect for you, especially everything citron.

My luck with Zara also changes. I haven't shopped there in quite a while, but have now found a bunch of pieces for my summer theme (which I haven't posted about yet), that I am very happy with. Finds attached, I think you asked on the blog post yesterday. They are mostly tops, with one dress and one rosette brooch.

Nice to see you, Anna!

Tanya, Zara is about ebbs and flows. Great mermaidcore stash. Can't wait to see how you style it! The DRESS!

Love the citron pieces and dress on you but the last outfit is a favorite. The little jacket reminds me of the old Target Chanelesque jacket that was a similar fit and colors in the plaid. I still have mine as there is little of that color in my wardrobe. It gets worn mostly with black or white, and a bright yellow scarf.

Joy, I remember that jacket! Enjoy

Wowsa - Terrific on all pieces!! What size did you decide on for the "Greece" dress? So hard to sort the look vs the fit with the over-sizing...

So so perfect for you!

I was in NYC briefly last Thursday. On Friday I wanted to get out of the city early due to the holiday weekend, but I took a morning walk from my midtown hotel up to the edge of Central Park and back down Fifth Ave. The huge Zara on Fifth near St. Patrick's Cathedral caught my eye, and I would have gone in if it had been open. The only nice Zara store I've ever been in was in New York, near Bryant Park. The one at our local mall is truly disgusting.

Laurie, those Zara stores vary greatly in fabness. Internationally too. Annoying

LisaW, the dress is an XS.

Sigh. I was just in both of those NYC Zara stores in the last couple of weeks. Both lovely. These were the first Zara stores I have ever visited so I didn’t have anything to compare them to, but I did think they didn’t have much actual merchandise relative to the size of the store. Not that I wanted it to be jammed full, but both just felt ‘light’. Maybe due to not yet having full seasonal stick in yet at that time?

CarolS, conversely, I think they sell out of items fast. Always understocked.

Good point, Angie!

The all-Citron set is AMAZING especially with your signature white + pearls.

WOW! You look fab indeed! Love all pieces- its as though they were made for you!
Thanks for the style inspiration!!

I have also had the surprise Zara experience this year. I usually call it Forbidden Zara to remind me that I shouldn’t shop there as their clothes are cut for someone with an entirely different body shape than mine. I broke my own rule this spring and am thrilled with the items I am keeping. The wide leg pants were especially surprising- they are much longer on me than the model but cute with platform sneakers

Thanks for the kind words! The citron top is being altered right now.

BieN, leave no retail stone unturned. Glad you found fab stuff!

I LOVE the tweed jacket/light denim outfit! Everything looks perfect on you.
That blue dress is great, looks so much better on you than the Zara photos. I like the print.
Your post about Zara inspired me to buy a few pieces myself to complete my Spring shopping focused on green. 2 tops, a tweed jacket, and a skirt are on their way, woohoo, can't wait!

Wooohooo, JP! I'm excited, and hope the items work out.

Zara really has been hitting it out of the park lately - I usually stop in at Oshawa Centre whenever we visit the BF’s family up there. This past fall, I got a beautiful oversized green and white tweed blazer that I’ve been wearing a lot this spring.

Zara was on my “no-fly” list for a very long time, but Angie, wow! Those pieces make you glow! And Tanya, I love your mermaid picks. I can’t wait to see how you style them!

Thanks, Mary Beth! I know, right? Zara has been VERY worth a browse this year. Glad you got fun stuff too.

Spring has sprung... Just be careful you don't attract too many bees !
