Returning the black knit tunic:). Found this. What do you think? Hard to get good chance room photos;(.

Blue grey step hem sweater with zips. Like it worn partially unzipped over pants and pencil skirt.

Deborah it is funky and versatile - yet - something about the position of those those zips seems unflattering. I think it is that the 2 tops of the zips create a horizontal line at a very wide point. Might be okay in action though.

I want to love this, but I don't think I do. The first photo makes it look boxy in a way that I'm having trouble with - could be the zips as anne says, and could also just be the camera angle, where it's actually great in real life!

Thanks ladies. I am tempted to buy and style for you. I have left it behind for now. The I actualy wondered if the positioning of the zippers highlight my apple tummy?

Our stores have a lot of short sweaters at the moment. This one has a high low and I am picturing with a longer layer under it. For example wearing it with zippers open and silky white shirt falling below the sweater hemline to the length that I think we are all used to.

Good move that you left it; it bothered me that the zippers were shaped like parentheses.

I think you are right to leave this one behind...I agree about the zipper placement. I recently tried on a cardigan with the same kind of zipper thing going on, and it was not flattering. I am not an apple, but I do have wide, high hips. The zips just said, "Hey! Look at my short torso and wide hips!" It went back on the rack. :^)

I'm a little late joining in here I really like the idea but like others not sure about the front. I think you can do better...but hey yo have to try all possibilities on. I don't know how many things I've discounted and then when I actually tried them they were perfect

IMO looks best zipped-up on the hanger, I think you made the right decision to walk away from this one Deborah.

Big fat Yes! I actually think diagonally placed zippers have to be quite flatering! Love it! Different but so you!

It is difficult to judge. The first photo was not very flattering but the second was much better. Either forget it, or if still tempted make sure it can be returned and if so you can take it home and play around with styling it.

Late but in the photo my eyes went right to the zippers and the area between them. Still, photos can exaggerate and it seems like a very Deborah piece. I'm no help!

I think the zips are not well placed - I know as a secondary apple they would feel like they were underlining my belly area. I love the idea though and have a F21 sweatshirt with these kind of zips - I leave them open so you can see the underlayer. I think Mo has one too.

I totally love it!! I am not seeing what others are seeing re the zip placement. Hmmm. I will have to go back and re-examine tomorrow in better light on my desktop (on the laptop now).
