May I ask you for some advice? And if you don't know, could you possibly point me in the direction of someone who might? I am a 20 year-old man, and I frequently attend ballets, operas, and occasionally other formal events with my mother, who is very plus-sized and is in her fifties. She owns no formal clothing - she only wears T-shirts and leggings, even in the winter - and I would like to get something for her for Christmas or for her birthday, which is next month. I want to get something formal for her to wear when we go to the theater and for when she attends my college graduation in a year or two. I'm obsessed with this matronly, 80sy, Ethel Merman/Montserrat Caballe/Vestal Goodman kind of look, loose, striking, tent-like dresses with big sleeves:

However, I have no idea where to find clothes like this or even whether it's possible to do so anymore. Do you have any idea where I might find dresses or blouses or skirts with this kind of loose, big-sleeved, matronly, Vestal Goodman/Montserrat Caballé look for a plus-sized middle-aged woman? I do most of my shopping online, so if there are any websites that sell clothes like this that would be a plus.
