Hello dear fabbers!
Despite retirement (over 5 years now!), it seems my forum posting frequency ( is that an FPF? ) has sunk to new lows.

My recent success at Banana Republic has motivated me to share some new wardrobe items that I’m absolutely over the moon thrilled with.

i saw the blue linen vest and pant combo on line, but wasn’t really taken with it. While out shopping with a friend, I had the opportunity to try it on in person albeit not in the correct size for me. Despite the sizing, I was absolutely smitten with the colour and the fabrication. Eventually I was able to get both the vest and pants, although it did involve the efforts of family residing in the US. Hah, that only added to the thrill of scoring the pieces.

The vest and pants can be worn in at least a million different ways.
i was wearing photo #2 out for dinner earlier in the week and slopped some tomatoey sauce on it. ( why is it the older I get the messier I am?? ) The vest is at the cleaners, but that prompted me to buy a back up vest since it’s currently about 70% off and because I love it that much and because I’m sloppy!

I’ve duplicated basic tees and the like, but never an article of clothing like this. Have you?
