Actually, it should still flatter even if you a re little lumpy, the ruching should take care of that. It is a lovely dress with a great pattern and would be wonderful on you!

I love this. The print and silhouette would make it so you could style it so many different ways --and it would be very figure forgiving in terms of camouflaging any "lumps and bumps." I think it's worth giving it a try if you love it!

TRY IT. The print is amazing.

(I am far more lumpy than you and even I felt good in my Vera wang dress that is a similar shape. I sized up so it's more drapey and less clingy.)

Carven has a lot going on with prints lately. I think it's their current head of design. Anyway, if that piece doesn't suit you, maybe there is another item in the same print that will.

Angie, I've always loved this style, but i don't wear it or even consider it most of the time because I feel like I don't have the body type for it. I've tried the Kamalikulture dresses you recommend and find myself too self conscious in them. But this print is haunting me!

Per the measurements it would be knee length on me at 38".

I may have to try it just to get it out of my system.... I called to check measurements and I think I need an 8. And then I can show you all and get opinions of whether I should continue to ignore this style.

Please don't be hard on yourself. You are fabulous. I don't see lumpiness- I see a fit and amazing woman. I doubt that it will be short on you- there are advantages to being petite!

I definitely think you should try it! This is completely off the topic of the dress, but have you had your vitamin D levels checked? Living in sunshine but under a hat I was still low and supplementing made a big difference. I can only imagine what happens in Alaska.
