A quick trip to the mall to pick up a pair of winter boots I had ordered resulted in two impulse purchases.

First, a pair of dark brown Romika lined combat boots. Price and colour both good and fit seems not bad. I had been after an indoor/non-lined boot but these could be useful on in the shoulder seasons and for winter outings where I don’t want a big heavy boot. They are vegan leather and waterproof.

Second is this very lightweight rain/wind jacket I found at H&M. I have been wanting something like this for a while but they don’t come around often. Tibi has one that I covet but is not in my budget. I think I’d prefer this in a darker colour, but I don’t dislike this colour.

Both shown in the photo below. I don’t have finds yet.

The boots are keepers unless my feet decide against them in the next few days. The jacket is still under consideration. I’m open to feedback because I could be blinded by how much I want something kind of like this. It’s obviously meant to be oversized. I got a medium. I see layering over heavier sweaters or wearing in those rare warm days when you need light rain protection.
