I was at the mall today and popped into Dillards. I started out looking at some blazers on a rack. I wanted a black one but they didn’t have my size. Then I saw this white one. I don’t know if I have sales googles on but the next thing I know it came home with me. I have 3 days to return it.

Opinions are definitely welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Hi Debbie it’s nice with the white boots but I’m finding it a little large on you… may be my own preferences showing as I’m not a big fan of long blazers on anyone.

I’ve found a white blazer to be really useful. And I love this one…I don’t feel it’s too big,the sleeves are a long, but that’s an easy fix, if it bothers you, (I actually like them this length)

Thank you everyone. Fit was what I am worried about. Now that the sales googles are wearing off. I still love it and think it looks good and will work well on my wardrobe but I am afraid it’s a little big. I might return it and look for a shorter one.

Irina-I think it will fit seamlessly in my wardrobe with jeans., black pants, or dresses. Fit is the thing.

The colour is fabulous on you, and I believe could prove every bit as useful as black - or maybe more so. This one has nice lines as well - however - it looks to be a size large (through the shoulders and in the arms) but it doesn’t look too long. Can you try it one size down?

Maybe you should button the blazer and see how you like it. As a fellow petite, I know too well the issues with too long garments.

I agree with Inge. You should have a white blazer. My only discouraging thought is that it should be a bit shorter as Angie pointed out on Monday. Jackets are trending shorter. But she also said now is the time when anything goes, so wear what you want. It’s all good. I love the color with your hair and boots, and the warmth it will provide from now through Spring.

I like my own blazers fluidly tailored, so the fit is good to me, especially when the shoulders are a little sharp like they are here. It works

I love an impulse buy that works out so well! I agree that shortening the sleeves will make all the difference. It will still have that slightly oversized look, but won't feel like you're playing dress up in your Dad's closet.

I like it. Love the color for you. Just for playing around you could role the sleeves to feel how it looks. Maybe a long sleeved shirt under along with a cuffed sleeve would be fun.

Please keep, looks great with your hair, and you can always scruch/fold a bit the sleeves up for not taking it too dressy or serious!:-)

Love the blazer on you, Debbie, it goes great with your hair and booties. I think the fit is just right -slightly relaxed, but not super oversized. As for the sleeves, both alteration and scrunching/cuffing are good options.

I love it! Very chic! To me it looks slightly oversized but not really too big. If the sleeve lining is pretty I'd roll them up a little bit.

I love it! Seems to me that slightly oversized is the look at the moment… so it’s probably ok size wise, to my eye.
It will be so versatile.

A white blazer is one of my wardrobe staples and I actually tend to like them a tad bigger to keep them from looking overly formal - I think it is a definite keep! I'd either scrunch the sleeves or roll them.
