Jenni, I wish I had boots like that, and not only for this vest. You're lucky to have learned mending when you were growing up. I will try to do as you suggest with it.

Bijou, "wildcard" is the word for it. Def not a piece to wear to work, unless maybe in a year or more...but I really doubt it.
