There's something going on with our spam filters. Please let me know on this thread if you try to post a comment on the daily blog post, but it doesn't come through - or it goes straight into moderation.

Comments will often go into moderation if you post a link in your comment. Potty mouth also goes into moderation, and so do users who have been blocked from the site. But other than that - your comment should go through.

Any problems?

I have just posted without any problem, Angie. If there was one, my guess is that it has already been corrected.

Yes--my comments are coming through. Funny thing, though, do you think a spammer or bot got through? During the last 2-3 days, I've been receiving a flood of spam comments to my blog and one of the only places it's publicized is here, as part of my bio.

ETA: It's actually not the only place--it's listed on the "reading lists" section of a lot of my friends' blogs--so any one of them could be the source as well. Just coincidental, maybe.

You know I had problem a couple of weeks ago, but it was solved. Also with my older posts, but now for me everything is OK.

The other week I think 2 of my comments went to moderation. Can't recall if I had posted a link or not. I am thinking 1 may have had a link and the other one did not.

I had a problem shortly after joining the forum. Even once I became an active member, and could post pictures etc., my comments on the blog went to moderation, and, I think in some cases, never appeared. But, the problem seemed to resolve after a month. (Comments on the forum were always fine.)

I had some go into moderation a while back (and posted on tech support). Didn't post on the blog today.

Apdate: no problem posting to blog.

I had a single, very non controversial comment dropped a week ago but I didn't have any problem when I resubmitted it and haven't since.

Angie -- I believe my blogs are getting through, but I am having a different problem. Pictures/icons don't seem load. It is the strangest thing. I didn't report it because I wondered if it was my computer.

Hi Angie -- the icons that accompany a members name do not load. I see the name and a blank.

It is an Apple IOS update thing because everything loads perfectly on my work computer.
