So I just sold a pair of patterned pants because I thought the pattern was too whismical for me.
Then I get this in a Burberry email, and I freaking love it.

Hey, the heart wants what the heart wants.
With me and prints, it's totally a gut thing. Some prints, I look at and I fall in love. Others, I detest. And I cannot articulate at all why I like some but not others.

Ditto Dana. Bags are not pants. Much smaller field for the pattern. And ditto Diana. Sometimes a pattern is totally dialed in and sometimes not. You can feel it, but it is very hard to identify why unless you are a textile designer who really gets patterns and is accustomed to taking them apart. I'd totally buy. If I were you. (And I might secretly be hoping that when you get bored with it, you'll pm me and see if I want to buy it...

I'm not even a bag person and yes I'd love to get it. But I got Whistler, Australia and a girlfriend just bought a weekend condo in the Okanagan, BC wine country for the spring. This girl places to go, people to see and things to do.
Though thanks for validating that I'm not stylistically crazy.

I agree bags and pants are different. Just asking if these bags were from Target would you still like them? To me that's the test of is it "Burberry" or the actual item? I have this problem with certain items. (bags in particular)

I have Target stuff, including bags that I love. If it was Target I'd snatch it up in *groan* heartbeat but also be heartbroken when it died after one season. I tend to keep & use my bags.
