Yay, welcome back, Angie! I'm so glad to hear Rosie and Jasmine are doing okay, too!

I'll need to see more jumpsuit options to make up my mind. Plus the restroom situation really bothers me.

Angie, I think some people are under the impression that you are joking about Team Jumpsuit (!).

Now if only someone would join me on Team Bodysuit! It's so lonely being a team of one ...

hehe I found a pattern for a jumpsuit today, so I think I shall make one to see how it goes for Summer!!

Laura I remember body suits being big when I was younger, and I actually think I'd like to re-visit the look again once SYC is over! I'm very drawn to the body suit with full skirt look.... How do you wear yours?

Bodysuit with a full skirt sounds perfect - I am thinking bodysuit with lower-rise jeans ... like Angie's jodphur jeans ... plus some sort of cropped jacket. I might need the bodysuit to incorporate some sort of shapewear-esque lycra content to prevent muffin top

Jumpsuit pattern! Really? Exciting! What does it look like?

I don't want my jumpsuit to be loose and flowy. I want mine to be sleek and tailored.

I don't dislike all jumpsuits, but I think they have to be just so to be appealing to me.
Visually, I prefer ones more like this

(but I'd have those pants hemmed)

compared to ones like this, which I don't care for.

Of course, ON is another story and I haven't read that yet.

Mine is strapless, making any bathroom business much less stressful (-:

Thanks, Lena! You are always so sweet. Nice to have you back on the forum so regularly. Am I still going to see you on Friday?

Okay. For the record. I am NOT joking about liking a certain type of jumpsuit. If I find one that fits the bill, I shall absolutely wear it. It needs to be soft and flowing - I don't want to look like a mechanic.

I heard the mechanic look is super hot for spring...lol...(-;

Welcome back Angie and Greg! I trully enjoyed your FW coverage.

Hmm, I can totally imagine you in the right jumpsuit Angie, you can definitely pull it of. I am personally staying away from them, tough I do have to admit that I used to own one a couple of years ago for dancing -sort of like pants version of the dance dress. Thankfully it is long gone from my wardrobe.

I have seen pictures of people wearing jumpsuits that I like but I don't think I would enjoy wearing one for the practical reasons.

(Belated) welcome back to you both.

I hope your recovery is progressing -- I've not caught up with all the FW posts, but given the ones I read I'm not surprised you guys were exhausted by the time you got home!

As for jumpsuits: They don't do much for my proportions and I drink waaaaay too much water for them to be practical, so I will watch all the TJ members work the trend from the sidelines....

Sarah, the DVF jumpsuit you posted is just what I want. Not sure about the leg length but it's worth a try.

Now all I have to pray for is that the majority of the population will feel the way the majority of YLFers feel about jumpsuits, and the DVF jumpsuit will be MINE and on MAJOR sale come January!!

(Praying to the jumpsuit gods ... or goddesses ...)

I am totally on team jumpsuit, even though I had one the first time around, back in the day. There's just one catch, which is finding one for my 36 inch inseam. That could be a very tall order, pardon the pun, but I'm up for it.

Kyle-- same problem with the jumpsuits!

I actually owned one in the early 2000s when they were mainly popular as club wear with the younger crowd. It was a black halter. I wore it somewhere with a pair of sheer split skirt over it (to cover up the less than perfect pant length). I also wore a black leather vest over the top and some bikerish high heeled ankle boots. I actually wore it to homecoming (at my high school-- cringe). The school required girls to wear semiformal dresses and I could not find one that was long enough and fit in the chest in the type of stores that catered to those events. I tried the misses section and we bought a dress to alter but I couldn't finish the (complex) alterations in time for the dance so we punted.

Thinking about it, I think this is where my hatred of waistline alterations and polyester jumpsuits may have come from.

Angie, could totally see you rocking one similar to the one on the runway from the FW photos though (maybe not so boho, but you get my drift). I can appreciate that style, but so many jumpsuits don't accommodate a bra. Finding one with a very long inseam that wouldn't show my bra is probably not worth the enormous effort.
