I went shopping yesterday and found, and fell in love with, white.

If you do spend $$$ on a white bag, you may want to think about patent leather so it can stay white longer. . . ?

I am on the hunt for a white trench, but must be washable and have some polyester in it. I know my grubby ways. . .

Angie, my sister (the one you met) is on the prowl for for white leather dining chairs. Her home is so cool - a mix of modern and mid century pieces. When my dear grandpa passed, she inherited many of their original late 60s and 70s pieces. I love it!

Actually white is on the top of my spring wish list too: bag, jeans, skirt, jacket, maybe dress...
Angie, we bought cream paterned dining chairs 5 years ago and now I need to upholster them as they do not clean that well and never come back to the original color (even though we did protect them when purchased...)

We've planned a palette of various shades of gray on the walls with white furniture and/or accessories all throughout the house. We just finished DH's office, with 2 white walls, one grey and all white furniture. And I'm collecting little knick-knacks to provide the occasional bursts of colour. LOVE!

We did the same, Vani! Our Living Room just got a fresh coat of a gorgeous white, and our kitchen has a fab pale grey with a touch of taupe tint.
On that grey wall, we put this art piece (in black and white)

I like that white jacket Sarah. I will never buy another white bag again after my white Fossil cross body became dingy blue from my jeans and jean shorts.
I have an off-white I think 60's era couch (I inherited it, don't know actual age).

Angie, you'd like our dining chairs. They're cream leather. And they're unbelievably easy to keep clean! I suppose the leather was treated, because all it ever takes is a wipe to remove any spills.

Our sofa, on the other hand, is a pumpkin-colored leather sectional! Our living/dining area is one large space, so we liked keeping most of the other furniture in quiet colors to offset the sofa.
