Hi all you gorgeous ladies, Angie, Greg and Inge,

It is such a pleasure to be back again! The last few weeks have been filled with loads of activities, and I've had a wonderful Summer. The best in many years! I hope you all can say the same. I've missed you all!

It started with a roundtrip in England in late June: London, Devon, St. Ives, Oxford . It was just great. Then onto Southern France for a week of sun and relaxation, meeting some friends and eating good food. After returning home to Norway, the best weather we've had for years made my stay in my hometown a wonderful experience with lots of trips down memory lane by visiting old favorite places and activities plus sun, sea and a rejuvenation of old friendships.

My wardrobe served me well during my travels. In fact, I think it's in very good shape, and I haven't added anything new since the holidays started (besides a new hand-knitted sweater, but more about that later). My favorite pieces have been my white Chucks, Ecco bullion sandals, the cobalt Fever dress and the BR safari jacket that I bought from Nancy Lee. I've also worn my cropped Hope pants a lot. The least worn new additions are the silk t-shirt from Paul & Joe Sister and the JCrew Tux shirt. I'm wearing the latter now, though, and still love it!

#1: Here I am in London, outside the Tate Modern. The very first day of our trip.
#2: My daughters bought several nice dresses and skirts for themselves during our stay in England.
#3: Little Sister bought the headband with flowers in London. Very sweet, and inspired by her Tumblr feed.
#4: Bike riding in Devon. A red plaid shirt and cool sunnies!
#5: Surfing in Cornwall. I didn't dare to try, but regretted it and will definitely join next time. Middle Sister managed to get up on her feet and surf a wave once, even though this was her first attempt at surfing!
#6: Windy and chilly in St Ives, Corrnwall, but oh, so beautiful. Polka dot dresses are staples among all my three daughters.
#7: Middle sister bought this dress in London and have worn it a lot this summer.
#9: The only day with showers during our trip was the last one in England. Here is my dear husband and my daughters during a very interesting tour of Christ Church College in Oxford.
#9: Meeting up wit Big Sister and her boyfriend in France! Here she is with Little Sister in Collioure, both wearing polka dot fit and flare-dresses.
#10: Middle sister in another of her new dresses. The floral pattern and Peter Pan-collar made it a favorite for her.
#11: Me and my hubby: Cobalt dress plus silk scarf, him in a cotton shirt.
#12: This striped dress got a lot of wear. It is very easy to dress up and down, and breezy enough for hot weather. This is in Oxford.
#13: The only day I wore my rain jacket was in St. Ives, because the wind was a bit cold that day.
#14: On the train on my way through Cornwall. Admiring the beautiful scenery and feeling comfy in my chambray shirt.
#15-16: A few more shots from my England trip, wearing the blue cropped pant with various tops and accessories.

Thanks for looking! I can't wait to see what you all have been up to lately.

Hugs!
