...and very, very tan. hehe.

i didn't really have pictures to post or anything -- well, i do, but nothing terribly fashiony, just me in my gear -- but i just wanted to post and let y'all know that i'm fine and well. we spent the past 10 days driving through south dakota, wyoming and montana, and saw plenty of amazing things, including mt rushmore, crazy horse memorial, yellowstone, badlands, glacier national park. we hiked, camped, saw bears, drove shoulder to shoulder with buffalo, had to deter wild burros from trying to stick their heads into the car looking for food, saw actual glaciers... so much that it makes my head spin!

the one fashiony observation i do have, however, is that there is a LOT of inappropriate dressing out there. i saw one woman, probably well in her 40s, wearing short shorts, a tank top and flip flops, trying to hike a 3 mile snow-covered mountain pass -- ridiculous. there were a couple with full faces of makeup and fancy skirts, on hikes on blazing hot days -- also ridiculous. i'd get it if these ladies were just chilling by the lake or something, but why attempt to hike?

it makes me glad to think that i asked for advice here on this amazing forum and, even if i'm still working on being stylish, at least i know how to be appropriate!

okay, now to take some time to comment on other threads :). i've missed you guys!
