As most of you have realized by now I am so much more comfortable with waist
surrender and not highlighting the apple but Modgrl's holiday golden dress, Goldenpig's post from today on apples and Alaskagirl's frank acceptance of menswear look on her body made me realize I have a long way to go before I'm comf-ier with my apple. But soon after I joined YLF I posted this outfit.

Yup I've slimmed down some since then but I'm an apple no doubt.

And that's OK !!

Sona, you are much more proportionate in the bust than me (and beautiful, BTW), but otherwise I SOOOOO get this body type! It's a challenge, but we can make it work, though!

Apples are...

Crisp, fresh, sensuous, healthy, rosy, tart, sweet, sexy (think about Eve, my friends...), golden, gravid, iconic. Most of all they are keepers—and delicious!!!

Sona, you look lovely, and Helen, you are rocking that dress!! Yay to both of you beauties!

You are so proportionate! This outfit is lovely. I really like how your belt and pendant echo each other and lengthen your body, and how they work with the horizontal pattern of your skirt but also jazz it up. My favourite apples are Gala, and this outfit definitely says Gala! And NOT in a round way

Also, not to be creepy but I am totally jealous of your shapely, feminine calves and ankles. I've got very "solid" ankles that look mannish in whatever shoes I wear--my mum says we all have farmers' ankles! You look lovely.

OH my gosh! It's like I've found all my sisters I never knew I had. seriously, SERIOUSLY, I was convinced I was the ONLY person in this world with my particular body shape! You guys look fantastic. Goldenpig I LOVE the orange dress you have pictured, that is amazing.
