I am nodding my head along with all of you. From the bloating issues to the bigger size in the front versus in the back.
I just bought these:

they are the comfort knit not the classic fit. I bought a size 6 and I think they fit but I just ordered a 4 to see if they would fit better. They look like dark washed jeans to me. I might order the white as well. I measure 32 1/2 inches where the pants sit (little below belly button) and hips are 37". I have a long rise though. Hope that info helps someone.
The best thing I have done (besides adopt a primal/paleo "ish" diet) is to sew a small piece of elastic to the back of my pants so it helps hold them up. I am not a seamstress at all and it is UGLY but helps put the pressure against my back instead of my tummy.
The jeans that work ok for me are American Eagle. I tried on every single pair of jeans in that store I swear. Not all fit, but the skinnies sized up to a 10 have a great deal of room in the front and then I add the elastic in the back as well as a belt. Cami's tucked in help hold the pants up and then I do a half tuck. I think they look bad in the back but I am not on team backside
As soon as the weather stays nice I will be in dresses or skirts. I buy a lot of distressed denim to dress them down for my casual MOTG life.
