Though I don't have the words and my usual ability to express myself is not great today. But I've been meaning to thank everyone here, thank YLF for conveniently existing for me at this point in time. It's been a time of diminished energy and activity for me, more free time but an inability to focus as well as I could be doing, and occasional dips into frustration and anxiety with some extremely moderate physical discomfort. Most of the time it's totally manageable, and all the fun and interesting learning that goes on here is a complete indulgence and icing on the cake. And other times, like today, it is really shoring me up when I'm feeling low. I tell you, I'm so impressed with the level of loveliness of the women here (ETA: let's not forget Greg and 40something guy!)....a couple of days ago I was reading all the birthday wishes to Suz...now, that's someone else's birthday, and it was ME who was getting emotional! This is such a special place.

I am so appreciative of everyone here and their complete generosity and willingness to help with a style or personal issue. The range of strengths and talents here is amazing.

What also pleases me, as I sort of evolve on many levels, not simply style: I am thoroughly enjoying the different perspectives everyone brings here. But just as much, I am feeling a greater appreciation for my own way of looking at the world, my own quirky perceptions and thought processes, the ways in which I bring something unique and crazy to this conversation. I love that I am starting to think more cohesively on all these topics (which in a wider sense, are often not given the respect they deserve). I like the "warmup" I get with my writing by focusing my thoughts here and producing something that occasionally makes sense and is not meandering off-topic!

If it weren't for YLF at this moment in time...let's just say I'm really glad you're all here! And also, I have real perspective, and know that everything is really okay, I'm extremely fortunate, my problems are slight, and my health is really pretty good.
