I just ordered this one from Old Navy.

For those of you who sported the corduroy shirt dress last year, this one is very similar but in chambray. I wore mine to death, so I was excited to find this. I'm excited about all of the different ways to style this through the seasons! Yay!

I did see that (and I am looking for a denim tunic for winter- but I want a heavier weight). I haver the cord version, and I plan on wearing it again this winter. It's a great layering piece (but a little short to wear as a dress).

Oh wow, I wonder if this would fit me! I want a denim dress! I'd have to get it in the tall for sure though.

Khris, I'll be wearing the cord version again too. Mine was definitely tunic-length, and I wore it with leggings. I live in a pretty mild climate, so I'm hoping I can layer over and under to stay warm.

MPJ & Michelle, if my regular is too short, I may try a tall for the extra length. I would really like to wear it on its own, too.

As far as sizing goes, I often have to size up at ON, as they make their clothes to fit flat-chested 12 year old girls. I ordered both a medium and a large. Last year's version is a large.

Edit: Sparky, it would look awesome with your new boots! MPJ, put that Boden jacket over it!
I'll update when the dresses come.

Well, I am pretty kerflummoxed with sizing in general so I don['t know how much help I will be. I got a Large, I believe- and it was tight through the chest as Boof says. Of course- that may not be an issue for you medusa.

Ooh, thanks for posting this! I have the cord version and wore it to death last fall. It's very short - I bought a regular (not a petite) and thought that it was a bit short for wearing without leggings and I'm 5' tall! I got the small and it was pretty snug across the chest and a little tight in the arms but the medium was very loose. I probably should have gotten the petite medium. Medusa, the small should work for you!

I ordered the small, we'll see how it goes. I decided to order a couple chambray shirts as well, since I want to try out that look. I'll keep you posted!

I LOVE this dress... and they post to Australia... and I could probably breastfeed in it! But alas, I'd better do more working and less spending at the moment, as it would cost most to import than the dress is worth. And yep, it was in my shopping bag, got to checkout and realized how expensive postage was going to be. I looked at a similar style locally at Portmans, but didn't stop to checkout the price or fit.

Something tells me I'm going to love Old Navy. One of the main differences I noticed with this store is that they cater for the short and tall. How good is that! Not something I'm used to.
