If you're looking for white jeans...

Bought these jeans yesterday. They have a nice, respectable rise and aren't super skinny. They fit like my straight leg jeans. I even tried on some premium white jeans and went back to these. The fabric is a little heavier and provides a little more coverage, which I like with the white. :o)

Thanks for the info. They look really nice, it's so difficult to find jeans with a higher rise. How did you find the sizing?

Julie, my girls are 7 and 10 now, so white clothing is generally ok. If I get messy, it's my own fault. :o) These are my first white jeans ever! I do have white clams and shorts that I added last year.

Donna, I bought my usual size in these. Some of the Kut brand blue denim is REALLY stretchy, but not so with the white jeans.

Marianna, while I was shopping, I shamelessly copied your black and white polka dot top! It was on sale, and I love it! Can't wait to wear it with my white jeans! :o)

I just bought the Kut from the Kloth bermudas in Angie's store and was very pleasantly surprised with the brand. These white jeans look just perfect! The price is right -- I hate to pay too too much for white denim due to my clumsiness and tendency to stain everything I own.

Julie, if you bought an inexpensive pair of white jeans, even if they lasted only this season, maybe you could experiment with them while feeling less concerned with potential spills and small hands wiping banana all over you (or worse).

Laura, I liked the bermudas too! I didn't want to spend a fortune on white jeans, either. I really like how Kut from the Kloth items fit.

Julie, I agree with Laura. I would go for an inexpensive pair of white jeans. They would look great with your denim tunic! :o)

Boof, did you get the bermudas? I wound up with the dark denim, since I have Boden clams in a lighter denim and in white (and thank goodness I duplicated the white ones during the Boden sale last summer -- not sure if they have them again this year?).

The Nordstrom salespeople tell me that Kut has a huge following. I am excited about them!

Sarah, do you buy new white jeans every year? That's what I wind up doing.

Not typically, Laura. But I'm two sizes different than last year (squee!) so I need smaller jeans. The jeans I bought last year were the Citizen's in Hutton (which I LOVED - worn here http://youlookfab.com/2009/04/.....-by-storm/).
So I'm stalking those and some Joe's Honeys and now I'll check out the Kuts in the straighter fit.
I hope the jeans I buy this year last me at least two summers. I do wear them a lot, though.

Laura, I did get the bermudas but exchanged them for Kut capris in a lighter wash. I'm going to have them hemmed to clam or bermuda length. I already have dark wash clams from last summer, so I wanted something lighter.

Laura, I think we might be Bermuda twins! Angie got me into a pair of those last summer when I saw her in Seattle. This year's model seems basically the same as the one I had. They are really really comfy and I like the higher rise.

Thanks for the tip - I am on the lookout for a pair of straight-leg jeans for this summer so I will definitely be checking these out at Nordstrom. Inspired by Angie, I delved full force into white denim last summer and LOVED them! I ended up getting a pair of trouser jeans as well as the clamdiggers in addition to the bootcuts I bought in the spring. The bootcuts, which I'd like to replace in a higher quality straight leg, were an inexpensive pair from ON and of course, didn't wear them on days when I knew I would be wrestling any kids in the sandbox at the park! For you mom's out there - I have a 6 and a 2 year old (5 and 1 last summer) and let me tell you - just keep a clorox bleach pen handy and you are good to go with white denim!

Thanks for posting these, Meredith! I meant to pop them into the store but ran out of time. They are great. A little growing during the day but not too bad, especially for white jeans when we welcome a roomier fit. Now add your denim skirt and coral necklace!

Angie, when you get back, definitely pop them into the store! I had them on for a while yesterday for a test run, and they did "grow" a little bit. Not too bad, and they're very comfortable. I'm still on the hunt for my coral necklace! I wish those Nordstrom glass beads came in coral!

THANK YOU! This is a major problem I have with white jeans and pants. I received a pair of white pants from Ann Taylor Loft yesterday and they fit great but were seriously see-through. Terrible!!!

I will try these out. Thanks for the heads up!

I just ordered these, so I'm hoping they fit - and are not see through. I've been having trouble finding white jeans and white tops that aren't ridiculously see through.
