if you were in NYC for the meetup...help!

I just need some details...

First place we went to after breakfast was Daffy's (after fruitlessly stopping by Ted Baker Soho, which was still closed). After that? Mind is blank.

Then we had lunch.

After lunch, we decided to go by subway to Nordstrom Rack.

After which, we ended up at Zara.

I think there are obvious holes in the day's itinerary, so please feel free to fill them! I'm writing the meetup report.

I met up with the group at topshop, then we went to the soho bloomie's, fluevog's and Club Monaco.

Of course! I remember trying on this beautiful ($260) cashmere sweater at Club Monaco. Thank you. I'm amazed that I totally blanked out on Bloomingdales, etc. It's all okay now--carry on!

Of course the big thing I associate Bloomies with now is your Dotty bag, the Kate Spade bag Angie and I were drooling over, and the salesguys who brought around trays of drinks and chocolate-covered strawberries!

It's all recovered from the swampy recesses of my brain now. Thanks again.

Heh, Zap, I was right there and yet missed it. I'm only going on faith that this brush with celebrity did occur! I think the celeb was sort of a...well, I won't give it away! (Sneaky way to guarantee my post will be read.)

They were a striking couple, weren't they? I didn't recognize them when they walked in, but I sure did notice how striking they were! Citygirldc, I think you were the one who first recognized them. And didn't we walk by someone on the sidewalk, too, after we left the Fluevog store? My memory is fuzzy on this.

Mochi, I bought a watermelon colored blazer at Zara--I tried it on for a lark and everyone oohed and aahed so I had to get it. I also bought a Rebecca Taylor silk floral top at the Rack, also Angie approved.
