The nordie's one is lovely. I haven't really thought about winter whites at all. I probably should. I searched high and low for a white jacket for two years. I finally found one this spring. And haven't worn it once! It's just too hot around here for a jacket in the summer. I might have to pull it out this winter.

The Mango one looks like the Express jacket - I believe Angie may have it or she recommended it before... Have you tried express? I don't think they do winter white, but they may. They had this jacket in Red, Cobalt and Black last winter. Totally 80's fab. Just beware that it has big giant 80's shoulder pads. I love that about it. But you may not.

The fit on the Nordstrom one is fine. I tried it on in black in pics 6 and 7 here, and white in pic 8 here:

I have to say, though, that I was not really impressed with the fabric. It looks great in black and it looks okay in white, but the other colors look really cheap. Initially, I was interested in the white, but the more I looked at it, the less I liked the fabric and the cheaper it seemed to look to me. It is very heavy on the synthetics, and it makes that odd swishing, grating sound that a lot of the synthetic crepe fabrics in the 90s did. I didn't buy it. Maybe you'll have better luck with it. I thought I'd share, though, since I tried it on very recently.

I love the Mango one. Could you order it from the UK? I order things from the UK. Last month I got this hairband in two days; I was so surprised it came so fast. Faster than from inside the US!

There are a number of other great jackets on the Helmut Lang website, like this Era blazer. I'm dying to see it on someone. It looks so sharp!

Since my search for my avant-garde black jacket continues, Helmut has a Flare blazer on its way to me now....

Debbie, I have this one and love it very much. It's a lovely off-white and I've been wearing it a lot this Summer, but the fabric is not super light so you'd be able to wear it in Fall/Winter too. It's easy to layer underneath, and it looks great with skirts and trousers. The jacquard print adds some textural interest too.
