After much virtual seeking, I found a good replica for a third of the price. They're on sale $50 from $110, tho, so they're not too cheap to begin with. They're suede rather than regular leather but the color, shape, and heal height look great. I've read up on them and they're true to size, comfortable, and the material looks good and just like the pix in real life. They're from Report and called Marks. Just thought if share my find :p

Please excuse me for chuckling, though. Because Angie found the same thing and recommended it! So you see...you are a very good shopper.

Quite a lot of us here are wearing these lovelies. So I, for one, will guarantee that the comfort factor is real and they are terrific.

The one issue I had is that the bottoms had no rubber (except on the heels). I do a ton of walking and would have been very uncomfortable in wet or slippery conditions or even on hardwood without rubber soles. So I had my cobbler put some rubber on the bottoms. This added to the price (I paid full price, too...) but I still feel they are worth it. They've been a workhorse for me.

Thanks. I tried the Edelman booties on today at The Bay but they do not have the red ones. And, they are $240 here in Canada. These are a great alternative.

Did anyone happen to buy them in sand :p ? The reviews say that color looks terrible in real life. Anyone know if that's true? I want some nude booties with a low cut on the ankle and some slouch and a 2-3 inch heal an that would fit my incredibly specific bill if thy looked good in that color XD

I own them in sand and have been getting a ton of use out of them! I love the color. They have some distressing and a darker toe so be forewarned (and I like this effect). I think Suz owns them in this color as well.

Would it be too specific a question to ask ... Could I get away with wearing a half size up (7.5) in this shoe if I'm usually a seven but sometimes a 7.5? Cuz I found a 7.5 for $30 cheaper

Can you return the 7.5 easily? I think it might work if you wear thick socks. I am a 7.5 and got a 7.5 and it fits but I can only wear thin or no socks with mine. The heel slips a bit, but I am used to that in certain types of boots.
