Yes. Hamilton is on an endless loop in our house. We all know every word, and we loved this clip.

These are my people. Singing the songs of my people.

So why does my DS think it's cool when LMM sings in the car, while he cringes when I do?

Beth Ann don't you know that it's one of the laws of the universe that men think their wives are incompetent? Even if their wives have clear skills/knowledge? Maybe not all husbands...but a lot of them. You . You are clearly a competent and skilled musician, but to him......not so much.

Years ago when discussing what type of filler to use in an old antique counter top. I suggested colored grout. Nope, not a good idea says DH. Our builder/contractor was visiting shortly after that and I asked him. He said "colored grout". DH said ok good. I called him out on it right then and there and he just mumbled. It's a genetic flaw, I swear

I knew all those songs really well except the Hamilton ones...gotta get a recording of that. I could listen to Les Mis all day long...I guess I'm with you these are the songs of my people too!
