Very sorry for your loss - she must have been a very strong woman to survive for so long.

I'm so sorry, Janet.

My heart goes out to the family. What a terrible loss!

Thank you so much. Timely that I just got the message for your reply, BC. We just left the reception after the memorial service and are about to try to beat the blizzard back home. It was a beautiful, heartfelt service, the church was packed to capacity. She was a wonderful person who made all our lives better for having known her. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It touched my heart to read all of your words.

Janet, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Wishing your friend's family strength, and you a safe trip back home.

I'm so, so sorry, Janet.

(This hits really close to home as my Dad has MM as well.)

Diana, I didn't know that! I'm sorry. The good thing is there are so many more treatments for it now than 17 years ago when Christine was first diagnosed. But I sure wish a cure would be found.

So sorry about this. Like Diana, this thread has hit close to home 'cause my Dad is fighting the fight, tooth and nail, 5 years now. Like you, Janet, I HATE cancer...

Hugs to you Janet -- this can't be easy.

Sending you big hugs Janet and prayers for her family. So sorry for your loss.
