Hahaha so funny reading this.

I think I'll be in comfortable dark wash PPL bootlegs, my favourite brown ankle boots and hey, if I knew it was coming it would be a good moment to spend lots of my children's inheritance on a fabulous black cashmere turtle neck. I might get the boots re-heeled and soled if I have enough notice and perhaps I should take a jacket or coat in case I have to haunt people during the winter?

There we are - smart casual.

Eternity but living my day to day life? I'd choose dark bootcut jeans, ballet flats and some kind of knit shirt (sorry, but wovens look rough after a day, imagine eternity!). But if I still had to live in this climate I'd freeze my feet off in the winter! So in that case I guess my Frye oxfords would be the best all season shoe!

I love the bikini and 4" heels response!

This is quite difficult! I'm assuming weather and comfort don't matter to a ghost, so it's purely about how the outfit looks. How would I want to be seen for eternity, doing day to day stuff? I think I'd aim for smart casual with layering, so dark wash bootcut jeans, my ruched boots, purple cowl neck knit top, scarf and either a jacket or cardigan. Of course I could go completely the other way and opt for something completely theatrical, but I can't think of something suitably over-the-top at the moment!

I also love Being Human; I'm planning to watch the season finale this weekend. Incidentally R+J, did you know that they're showing a one-off of Becoming Human in the same time slot this Sunday? It's a spin-off featuring teenage versions of the three types of supernaturals, including Adam from earlier in the series. Up to now they've been showing bite-size episodes on the internet, but due to it's popularity they're airing the whole thing on TV in one go.

Ooooh I want to start watching that show and i keep forgetting. Are you watching the British or the American version?

I get bored with clothes really easy...if i had to wear the same thing for the rest of my life i might offer myself to a flight of stairs. XD

MaryK and Nicole, maybe pull along luggage could be a part of your ensemble? Or porters, carrying trunks :D?

LOL Lynne I love this suggestion!

This is such an easy one for me: skinny jeans, flat boots and tunic/jacket/woven shirt, etc. on top. I love this look and I fear the day it goes out of style although I'm holding on to the thought that the equestrian version of this look never really goes away.

I'm so late back to my party, sorry ladies for being so rude. We had a family emergency of the tummy bug variety at the weekend and I shan't give you the grisly details.

Angie, my ghostly stylist will be wearing her Club Monaco blouse.

Maya, you won't feel foot pain or temperature you are free to wear whatever pleases you best.

I would be wearing a cotton shift that sits just above the knee, patterned hose and lace up heeled booties.

Thanks for making my decision for me, Julie. Your outfit sounds spot on. Hope that the family is recovering. So grotty :((((

Julie, I had seen teasers about the American show on the TV and dismissed it as yet another vampire show. Until I read this thread! I thought to myself "If Julie likes this show then it MUST be good" and immediately set about finding the show online (just don't ask me how). I am HOOKED - and so is DH. I think it is more about him being in love with Lenora Crichlow more than anything else, but if that means we can watch marathon episodes together it's all good. And hey I am totally crushing on Aidan Turner

So, now I'm all caught up to episode 6 of season 3. I went online to find out when to expect the 4th set of episodes to start and found out what happened in the final episode of season 3 (don't want to give away the ending for those who don't know). I am not one to get attached to TV show characters, but man, I SO bummed about what is going to happen that I almost don't want to watch the remaining two episodes

And I don't think I want to watch the US version of this show after following the fantastic UK version. Russell Tovey is a very tough act to follow as are the others.

A swishy skirt, cute tee shirt, and low-top white chucks.

Oh Vani, I'm so chuffed you love the programme, I still miss it and I'm so relieved season 4 has been commissioned. Even though you sort of know the ending I would still stick with it, there are so many turns in those last episodes!

Di, my fondness of swishy skirts means I love the sound of your outfit
