Red! I have a red shoe obsession!

I vote for red though. I have such a sugar eye for red shoes!

Another scream for red! But, if that's too out there for you for now, military green - military is incredible versatile and adds some saussy (without the more obvious punch of red).

When I was younger and didn't wear warm colours at all (my wardrobe was black, white, grey and maybe just a hint of blue), I bough a leather converse in military green (you might check Rae's post on the Cons highness). Man, those converses were worn to shreds. Seriously: I worn them with a hole on their soles for a few months... only giving them up once wet season kicked in and the sides of the sneakers also unglued.

Another red vote. I also have a very stylish friend who swears that every woman should have a pair of hot pink shoes. Sounds crazy, but when she has them on with an all-neutral outfit, they look amazing!

Try forest green!

I'll say a burgundy/wine. It's good in all seasons, and is just one shade close to a neutral so you have a great colour to banish boredom, yet it won't cause eye damage if you're wearing a bright coat or coloured skirt/pants, etc. I'll second red as well!

Pink! I had to choose a colour last winter when I finally accepted the fact that I had to have some heels for an event. Now I've always loved heels but a forefoot injury in the spring of 2011 has made it virtually impossible for me to wear anything other than comfort shoes. I went on a mission to find comfortable heels and came across some great ones that fit my criteria - pretty, not very high (2"), high toe box, cushioned inside, flexible material and well priced. I now have 4 pair of these heels but the first pair was pink and I still love them. They actually go with a lot of my outfits and I always get compliments on them.

I love those pink pumps! Even better that they are comfy. What brand are they?

Another vote for burgundy, or a leopard print, though not as sure about the leopard if the shoe is more boot-like.

My first thought was red but I then modified that to burgundy/wine. Though I have to add that I have a pair of mustard suede wedges and they have been very versatile.

I have to vote for animal print. I love my Munro's from NAS.

Another vote for red. I have a pair of garnet red pointy toe flats (sadly on their last legs...or....ummmmm....toes), and they go with absolutely everything.
