Oh, so much help! Thank you. I am about to go to bed, so I will respond more briefly than I would like.
First, the only shoes I have right now are black, white, red (my stay at home slipper/loafers) and the orange clogs. My only purse is orange--and I recently purchased an orange scarf--so those shoes are "taken care of."
I am trying to plan for the fall and I am thinking of foot wear for the fall, mostly. I'll need some sort of pump--and I'd love two pairs of boots. I love the idea of brown--and so I had been wondering how to incorporate it. So, my options are:
purse
hat
jewellery: most likely a necklace. The picture was a great help!
scarf
headband. (Ok, never say never, lol!)
--or I can just skip brown footwear all together since I just cannot see it working that well. (My projected fall colours are oatmeal, grey, black, navy, blush, cranberry and all the blues. But we will see what is out there!)
I found myself in a strange position this summer when I purchased the white pants--all of a sudden, I needed white (or silver) shoes! I had intended--as I ususally do--to just buy and wear the one black pair I'd already purchased.
Winter boots cost the Earth, though, so as much as I'd love brown, perhaps I really should skip? (Though, here I am dreaming of those brown knit ponte pants from Angie's Nordstrom picks.) Though, as this is my first fall/winter as a YLFer prehaps I ought to keep things simple (simple=affordable) by sticking to black and grey bottoms (though I may not have the luxury of being even that picky.)
Whew, that turned out to be longer than it ought to have been! You are all so wonderful to help out--and to look through past posts is truly above and beyond, Runcarla, so hugs.
