Wow, that is really beautiful. I hope that shawls aren't frumpy. I have a few and wear them quite often, especially when I travel. The great thing about a shawl is that you can wear it as a big scarf or cuddle in the car or on the plane or on the couch with it.

TRex and K - can I call you yarn enablers? I emailed BMFA this morning to check the colorways (the photos aren't conclusive) and will pull the trigger as soon as I hear back.

I love the idea of a triangle shawl styling thread. K if you start it, let's not wait until mine is done, right? All I have right now that's triangular is a kerchief. Maybe I'll put it on, get a shot, and then post. After I get the rest of the tomatoes in.

Isabel-are there photos?
Hmmmmm. I'll wait a couple of weeks so that Diana can join in the fun, since a "knit it/wear it" challenge wouldn't seem right without her participation! And yes, yarn enabler isn't an entirely new title for me.
What a fun thread! I have been a knitter on and off, never so ambitious as you lot though. I would joyously participate in a knit challenge to the best of my abilities. Knit on, fabbies!

By the way, Ann, I love the shawl. It's gorgeous. It looks like a really fun project.

Quick hijack = Kellygirl, I made that brioche of yours, but I forgot to post it. I just wanted to thank you for the inspiration!
Enabling others is my favorite pasttime.

I learned only the very basics of knitting from my friend, and I haven't practiced in a very long time. I'd like to get caught up in this madness. It seems like a lot of fun.
