I could have saved myself a ton of time and energy if I had just listened to Angie in the first place. I've been on the hunt for the perfect boots for a few months now. In one of my very early boot posts, Angie suggested the Frye Veronica Slouch. I completely dismissed the idea out of hand.

This weekend, I was at the mall scouring all the stores for the perfect boots. At Macy's I walked over to a table of Fryes. One lovely, slouchy brown pair caught my eye and I decided to try them on. They only had them in stock in a half size bigger than I take, but I tried them anyway, in hopes that they wouldn't work and I wouldn't be tempted to pay a ghastly amount of money for a pair of boots.

Of course, I was completely smitten with them. I ordered them from Zappos last night and they will be in my hot little hands by tomorrow evening.

Think of all the time and energy (and money, on 4 or 5 pairs of not so great boots) I would have saved if I had just listened to Angie from the get go.
