If I could buy just one more thing for summer:

Mine will probably be a new pair of white jeans. I'd love the ones in the YLF store (probably Paige) but am holding out for a pair of straight legs with a medium rise if they can be found.

After what I purchased last year, I'm in a pretty good place. I've added a few new items, but there isn't much that I *need.* A pretty printed summer top is at the top of my list.

I haven't really purchased anything for summer. I definitely need to evaluate what I own first. Like Joy, I really want a pair of white jeans. Have for years.

What I really want is a bigger clothing budget. My list of summer wardrobe wants is getting a little out of control. If forced to chose, though, I'd have to either go for white jeans (the ones I have are not as good as I once thought due to side-entry pockets) or a polka dot top/dress.

I think rather than buying one more thing, I'd like to wish mushroom tones, pale hues, and ditsy florals out of existence for the rest of the season. I was so frustrated-bordering-on-anger today while shopping because every store is just COVERED in them. Mango was full of them. H&M is still full of them. I am sick, sick, sick to death of it. If I see one more store interior peppered with bland colors and even blander floral prints, I am going to vomit. It's like shopping in a Laura Ashley showroom.

Right now I just want real color back (not fake colors like tan and beige). I want to see more geometry again. If I had to buy one more thing, it would be a red-on-white or red-on-black polkadot dress.

Maya, you are cracking me up! I could probably get you to vomit by posting college pictures of me in my Laura Ashley dress, patent flats with bows on them, and my hair pulled back with a big bow. I still have a soft spot for Laura Ashley prints...but I would no longer wear them on my 40-year-old body. :o)

Mac, I hear you on the dress length. I'm only 5'5," and I struggle with finding dresses that aren't too short.

One thing? Probably a dressy short sleeve blouse. I think my wardrobe's in decent shape for 3 out of 4 seasons, but I think I only have one short sleeve shirt that would be presentable enough for work. I'd also like white or khaki pants! Oh and a dress! Here we go...

Be careful when buying J Crew on eBay though -- there are MANY fakes out there. I was looking for a particular J Crew necklace and found a great deal on eBay. It looked totally legit, with J Crew tags and all that. Upon reading the seller's feedback, there were many complaints about the seller selling fake J Crew. So just be careful and do your research!

That is so weird Marianna! If you're going to sell fakes, why not sell fake Marc Jacobs or fake DVF? Why fake J CREW?! How silly.

You probably looked adorable Boof! I think Laura Ashley had its place in the 90's. I'm more than over it in 2010 though!

Mac, I'm 5'2 and 26 years old and even I have had it with dress lengths. I don't mind a short dress but where is the VARIETY? I can't wear minis to work...and if they are minis on my short self, they are micros or perhaps tunics on people of normal height or taller.
