I struggle with my taste (dress-up) vs. my lifestyle (casual).
A couple of years ago, I fell in love with this capelet that I found in a boutique on Cape Cod. Since we don't tend to have elegant holiday parties to go to, I've worn it on Christmas with a black ribbed turtleneck and wide-legged trouser pants. Do you have any other suggestions for ways I might dress this down so it can come out of my closet a little more? It has a heavy weight to it so is nice and warm, but I'd still have to wear my winter coat over it when outside.
