ideas for styling this skirt...

I have no clue what do I wear this with:
Black looks to harsh, white is ok, pink to matchy, red and green to contrast!!!
Help me please this can't be the only way to wear this:
P.S: I think this highlighting my pear shape may also be outside my comfort zone.

Olive green ? Soft gray? Cream or light beige? Or soft blush with a tint of pink would be perfect too. Another trick is, Get a lighter shade of the combo color. Cant tell the color of the other stripe? if you mix the 2 colors of the stripes, what would you get?

Maybe a jacket just a smudge longer, or even shorter/cropped that hit the top of the waist?

It is tough to tell what colour the stripe is -- is it taupe? If so, go with that. You could try darker or lighter taupes for the top. Last year I got a loose linen taupe sweater at H&M for about $20. Something like that would work for sure. So would an untucked denim or chambray shirt.

Find a looser, longer top if you are self-conscious.

Thanks so much every 1. I know the other colour is tricky. Its something between soft grey and taupe.
Suz I love that linen sweater. I hope I get that .
Lots of votes for navy and grey. I just realised I don't own both the colour. Wonder why.
May be its time to dip my feet into those colours too.

Well, I like this skirt on you, first of all. And I like the way you have styled it. The blue in your jacket works very well, I think possibly because the tonality of the colors is similar (like sort of muted and softish) versus highly saturated. I am no color expert at all, but I think that may be what you are looking for. A soft denim or chambray would probably work quite well.

Sounds like you've gotten great advice on colors. Embrace Angie's title of "pretty pear." It's a body type that's been celebrating in art for Millenia. Your jacket gives nice structure to the shoulder line, which is terrific.
