I would pay anything for full length boot cut or trouser length pants that would be as cool as linen and tolerable in summer heat and humidity but hold their shape better than linen. Don't say tropical wool, cause hah!, they lie...there's no such thing.

A pretty bra that came in my size with no alternations needed that gave me both excellent support and perfect cleavage.

I don't know about "anything", but I would be willing to do a big splurge for the perfect LBD, not necessarily in black.

Well....given Laura's excellent budget reminders, I wouldn't pay anything for anything!

But, within my overall budget, I would splurge and even go a bit over (and make it up afterwards) for:

The perfect suit.

But for my pants, if such existed, I'd pay in the $200 neighborhood and consider it well spent. Which I have never paid for one item so it seems like a lot!

(I think this last one is a reflection of my current dress shopping frustration).

Right now? I would pay quite a bit for a collection of about 10 summer tops that aren't sleeveless or cap sleeved (elbow length would be nice), and that can be dressed up or down. I have lots of skirts, a few pairs of shorts...but am essentially topless for summer right now. Eeep...

Another vote for perfect bra. 31D would be ideal, with low underwires that don't poke me on the side. Maybe $100 for such a find.

But if we are only talking clothes, I would have to go with either the perfect tall, flat black boots or black blazer with some sort of leather trim. I think the boots would be more of a daily item for me though.
