Hi everyone
I haven't been around much lately ... off having baby boy number three and trying to keep my head above water with three active little ones!!
I'm overdue for a closet clean out and I am looking forward to planning for the upcoming new season - Autumn/Winter. (Still currently 37 degC here in Oz but it must be nearly time for that to move on!!)
Some of my challenges are:
- my style tends to be conservative, classic, read boring!! I really liked where I got my business wardrobe to but I am currently not working at all so it's my Mum On The Go capsule that needs lots of work.
- I am a pear and currently in the process of losing 15kg of baby (can't really blame him :)) weight - 6kg down, 9kg to go. I tend to feel more comfortable in skirts and dresses but this is where I struggle because I live in a very casual environment and often feel overdressed and maybe even matronly - or not current and trendy anyway.
- way too much black in my wardrobe!! Really stuck in a denim and black rut.
So, I guess I'm asking for some help in developing my style persona for Mum On The Go and injecting a bit more fun and interest into my wardrobe. Is there any books that have helped you work on developing your style??
So far I'm thinking I'ld like to try some more tunics with leggings or dresses with skinnies. And also maybe some boots that are more casual. At the moment I have black and also taupe knee high classic boots.
Thanks for reading!
Here's are couple of things in our Ezibuy catalogue that I'm considering:
http://www.ezibuy.com.au/women.....-92602.htm - maybe still too dressy?? I'm thinking it could work quite well layered with a stripy tee or denim jacket and slouchy boots / booties??
