I want a maxi dress and I can't choose!

I kinda want a maxi dress...they just look so cool, comfy and easy breezy. I had my eye on one a while ago, but decided not to get it because I thought it might not be mommy practical. But now seeing them around everywhere, I think it would be fine! So, I have 6 here that I like, all for slightly different reasons. Any reason why I should get one or the other, or should not? Ack! I can't choose! Most are between $50-$100 which is right in my budget. Alas, the one I *think* I like best is $220. But I won't tell you which on that is, and we'll see if you all agree with me.

Number #1 looks very bare to me, both in front and with the back cut out. You have the figue for it but it doesn't seem practical or "easy" to me (special bra required? What about bending over? Etc).

Raisin, I really like #5 for you:) #1 is gorgous too, but I find it perhaps a little too revealing?

#5. That, I have just learned from Angie, is an Armani neckline. And it would look superb on you. Some of the others are too bare. Others look too boho.

#2 might work, too.

I really like #2 and #5.
#2 looks a little more like a daytime dress to me than #5 does in all black, but #5 is gorgeous.

I wear maxis and they do feel like they might not be mommy practical, but they are - they totally work and they're very comfortable! I wouldn't wear a $220 one taking the kids to the playground, though Anyway, I personally like #6 best (because I'm an apple and all about disguising the waistline)... #1 is too bare to me for casual wear.

I like 5 best, followed by 6 and maybe 4. 1 is beautiful, but pretty formal looking with the bare skin. Just get #5. (Is that the expensive one?)

I like #2! Then #5, #4, and #6. #3 looks too matronly and #1 looks like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen!

I would choose 5 as most suiting the style I have seen you going for. sporty, simple, elegant. But 4 is a great choice for the every day and is also sporty and youthful

#2 and #6 are def the most casual and cool for a summertime mommy... but #5 is the most beautiful. But it might be a bit much for a just a day at the park, a bit dressy for my taste. It looks more like evening wear than a maxi dress for sunny days. Same with #1, its gorgeous, but I wouldn't wear this casually during the day...

Ok so you guys picked well! I also love #2 and #5. And I like 4 a lot too. I think I'll eliminate 1 as it is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.

2 is the spendy dress at $220. While that's not more than I'm willing to spend on any one piece I'm not sure I should spend that on a maxi. I love 5 but is it too dressy for motg? Maybe 4 is a good compromise of the 2?

I don't think 5 looks too dressy at all. I like the shape of 4, but the heathered grey top just makes me think of workout gear.

I like #4, #5 and #6. I don't think #5 is too dressy, especially if you wear it with casual shoes, and would work well for the occasions you have planned.

I think you can pull of #5 as MOTG wear - just do flats and have a casual (jean?) jacket in tow for when the sun gets too hot on your arms or a chilly breeze comes up...
