May I join this bench too? I was at the Gap last weekend and one touch of the sweater was all I needed to know that I didn't need to try it. Way too wooly itchy for me. I like the cut of it but I'm not crazy about the neck.

Its definitely not my style (well anything at gap I'm not a gap girl). It is like a turtle neck which I don't do (hello short neck!)

I'll have red wine, but will continue to wear my sweater (and might get another one!) just not whilst drinking red wine. I wear a tee under it so no itch. Hail to creative differences!

I'm not even tempted. I also tried on some black & white spotted pony hair booties today. Ok they were knock-offs at JOE but still $80, not chump change for me, and I think they captured the look. It's just not the look for me somehow. I know they aren't as popular an item as this sweater but I never would have even given them a second glance before ylf and i love them on ofhers. I'm also still very unsure about a chambray shirt I bought a month ago, again, totally due to ylf (I even had a specific outfit in mind to copy and I have the other pieces... I'm just not sure it's me). The sweater is an easy no for me... Still figuring out the other stuff!

Jules, I hear you! I doubt I would have given that sweater a second glance if it hasn't been so popular here. Wasn't expecting to love it, either, but I like to keep an open mind.

I'm with Sveta and Suz and love my sweater (funny, there was no itch-factor with the ones I bought, but I did notice it on one when I was trying different sizes), as I do run cold and even wear a tee under it. It's becoming a winter workhorse for me and this is spoken from someone on Team Giraffe, so I LOVE the neck! I'm ready for a cocktail now, ladies.

Well, I tried valiantly to get one I could live with, but they just made my neck get red and feel prickly I tried on at least four in two different colors, thinking it was an itchy batch or something, but no luck!

I can't figure it out - I wear wool all the time without problems. Usually merino, and I'm okay with most cashmere but not all of it.

I never would have looked at it myself, but I DO love the way it looks on everyone else

I DO like this sweater on others, and I am mad for turtlenecks, but have not been tempted. I've just never found a wool sweater I could tolerate, and, as Claire says, true winter cold is not something we deal with much in Arizona. I have a couple of heavy sweaters and I'll leave it at that unless something non-wool completely bowls me over.

I propose that we all gather together on the bench and keep warm with tea and hot chocolate!
