I scrolled up so I couldn't see her face/hair & I think it's still a good outfit Maybe not what you would wear but I would wear this for errands or a walk.

Hair and face. And a certain type of figure--not too boyish. I can picture myself in something like this, though admittedly it would look more pedestrian. I don't have any of the pieces, anyway.

Oh, I know--Shevia could totally rock this look. Her new haircut is edgy with great texture, too.

At first glance I think it's my kind of classic look: sepia-toned vintage romantic. The hair makes it more modern. Also I like to study the Satorialist for the details, because that's often why he seems to pick images. Things like the way the pants are haphazardly turned up, the popped collar, deep unbuttoning on the blouse, and long knotted belt.

FWIW, I don't think the hair makes the outfit. It's a fabulous outfit, full stop. Gorgeous proportions, fun shoes, glam necklace, earthy-weathered accents, good juxtapositions. The hair adds a very interesting and wild edge - but the outfit holds its own to my eye.

I totally LOVE this look. Top half feminine, refined; bottom half relaxed, natural. Her hair is complementary with a wedge shape that is both wildly curly (bordering on out of control) and purposefully shaped and controlled. Sort of reminds me of what I wore to brunch with my husband this morning!

Well I do love her hair (thanks Firecracker!) but I think she also has the waist for this outfit. I would totally wear this if I could pull it off and certainly would try the trousers with loafers.

I don't agree with you about the waist. I think she can pull of this look precisely because she has very narrow hips - she seems pretty straight to me. Us, pretty pear ladies, have to be very careful with these types of bottoms - very very difficult to pull off.

I really like the whole vibe and look of the outfit, and her hair is amazing too, but I think this is really a matter of all the details working together. The color combo, the fit, and yes, the fact that she is slim and has a model-like narrow-hipped build all make it work. I actually think her long neck really contributes to the look too -- the popped collar wouldn't be nearly as successful otherwise, and that's a detail in styling that helps push this look up a notch.
