I spent lazy Sunday planning wardrobe additions for 2021. After loosing 20kg in 2019, my weight has finally been stable since January. But my wardrobe is still in transition, and most of it doesn’t fit me that great. I made a big mistake during my weight loss - my goal was to lose 15kg and when I hit that goal beginning of November last year, I started shopping and rebuilding my wardrobe immediately, not waiting to see if my weight is stable. But I continued loosing weight for 3 more months and went down another size.
At that point I stopped shopping for a while - I was immobile due to back injury for 2 months and then started working from home because of pandemic. In summer when I was finally able to go outside for a walk, I was forced to get few new items because all my summer wardrobe were before weight loss. I also had to replace most of my footwear - my back doesn’t like 5cm heels anymore that I wore the most before injury. In August I started going back to the office and had to add few summer workwear essentials. I am now thinking about additions for 2021 - I think that my summer wardrobe is in good shape, so I am more concentrated on winter and early spring. I need few more items in my new dark neutral - navy. I also want to add a few essentials in cream or off white. And then I need some color, pattern and sparkle for fun. I have selected those 20 items that I would like to get in 2021. It doesn’t have to be those exact items - even though I really like all of them - and I am still thinking about corduroy suit too - but this is good representation of what I would like to get. They are all available now, but can be sold out before I pull the trigger, I may change my mind or find something that I like even more. But as planning goes, I am really happy with it. 2 of them are actually already on the way - as potential Christmas gifts, can you guess which 2?
