As it usually happens, I find these things when I’m not really looking hard for them. I stopped in my favorite boutique today since I was in the area with a little time, and the SA brought me this. It’s extremely light and comfortable cotton, roomy and breezy, so this is a really good summer casual dress alternative for me. It’s maybe a little extra roomy on top, but this was the only size left, and sizing down might make them a little snug in the hip anyway. I found that rolling the sleeves helped rein in some volume, so I’ll probably either have them altered or tack them up myself. I could also have a little volume tailored out of the side at my waist if it looks too big. I’m pretty darn sure this is a keeper — what do you think?
Bonus pics of what I wore today, but with some booties I was trying on, that I absolutely love (they are from AGL and are leather with mesh panel inserts). Cloth & Stone joggers, Vince plaid wrap top, and Kensie utility jacket. The shoes I actually wore today are the metallic gladiators I’m wearing with the jumpsuit — a Rack find from Sofft. They’re super comfortable!
