I think I found my investment summer bag! And colourful jacket!

I'm starting on a two-week stretch of vacation and decided to celebrate by shopping for a few spring necessities.

I've been looking for a colourful jacket for just about ever -- really, anything in a Michelle-friendly shade and in a lighter fabrication was bound to get my attention, or would have if they actually existed. Imagine my surprise when I found this turquoise jacket today. It's returnable...what do you think? Please excuse the top in the outfit...I know these pieces are not to be worn together.

At the same store I also snagged a pair of white cotton pants. They feel great and fit really well, but I still welcome your feedback on how they look.

Last and most excitingly, I think I can end the hunt for an investment bag in either white or cream! This one from Coach had all the variables I was looking for (size, strap drop, quality of leather, zip top etc). But it, too, can be returned if it doesn't pass muster with YLF, the ultimate authority!

I love that blue top on you, Michelle! I think all kinds of blue will flatter you beautifully. White pants and the bag look like keepers to me, all the white pant talk makes me want a pair too, even though they're as impractical as can be as a MOTG... I like the jacket, too, even though it's hard to tell how long it is from the picture.
The white pants, blue top and the Coach bag look awesome together!

I'd also like to see more of the jacket, to make sure it hits at a flattering part of the hip, but OH MAN, that bag is beautiful!

Sorry about the jacket picture! When Corey gets home, I'll pop it on over my black sheath so you can assess it properly. Personally I felt comfortable with where it hit (my recollection is just slightly above the hip), but we'll see later on.

Ok, for those who requested a better pic of the jacket, I think this one will work. I'm wearing it over my black sheath and threw in the new white bag, just because.

I also have a fresh pic of the pants, this time styled with one of my very summery tops.

Hopefully these will allow you to evaluate better.

Another thumbs up for the jacket! Love the nipped in waist and the bracelet length sleeve (and of course, the color still!). The white pants look great with the summery top.

Great pieces! I wasn't sure about the pants at first but they look very nice in the full length picture. The bag is amazing. I don't usually go for Coach because of the ostentatious logos but this one doesn't have any of that, it is perfect.

Great choices. Love the jacket and it is a gorgeous color for you. One can never go wrong with a good fitting white pant for summer, and the bag is beautiful. It may not be new, but the dress in the pic with the bag is gorgeous both in color and cut.

Ooh I'm glad you reposted pics - the second set quenched any of my doubts. Jacket is great colour anda great fit. I definitely prefer the pants with a shorter top as in the 2nd pic....the first one was too long and baggy with it, I think. And the bag is the piece de resistance - it's perfect!!
