I think Angie wants a Style Icon

Well I think we all agree that Angie is a style icon but I think I saw her asking for suggestions for an icon in another thread. Maybe if we make suggestions she will play?? Or maybe she is already planning something but we can have fun musing.

I'd love to see her do Faye Dunaway (a la "Chinatown" or "Bonnie and Clyde"). A film-noir, dangerous Angie!

Or possibly Halle Berry as Catwoman! (I guess Sam wouldn't approve that one, though.)

HAH, Jeanie, and thanks for the kind words. Actually, more than anything, I was complimenting El Cee on how exceptional she was at finding style icons for forum members. It's been soooo fun seeing who she comes up with! And I didn't want her to stop.

Rachy, I have Bob Mackie's black turtlenecks style down.

Suz, a very sweet compliment. Carole Lombard is beautiful and very sultry.

We'll have to leave Faye to Kiwi Sally, and Annie to Suz!

Xtabay, understandably, Batsam has a retraining order on Catwoman.

Angie you are totally Audrey and Grace worthy. Like an inspired blend between the two.

Your wavy blonde hair and the turn to pretty made me think of Lombard. Besides alluring she was very witty. I think one of those 30s bias gowns would be spectacular on you with your current 'do. It also recalls the glam 70s which were reviving that look to some degree.

This is tough. I remarked to Angie on another thread that she IS a style icon. How does one find an icon for someone who is already an icon? But I do see that Angie can often channel other lovely stylish ladies. So OK -- I will play the game.

Jeanie -- Thanks. I am flattered, but I think it is just that I have an almost completely visual memory and relationship to the world. Sadly, I am not the least bit auditory. My hubby asks me over breakfast to pick up something at the pharmacy later in the day -- think I could remember? No. But I can remember what each of us wore on our first date in 1989. A somewhat useless talent.

Angie -- So wonderful that you get to see Duran Duran tomorrow... 5th time? You lucky gal! Enjoy the show. I missed them when they were in CT -- we were away.
