...and came home without buying anything! Well, hubs did buy me a cute, cozy, cable knit snood, which came in handy in the sub-freezing temps, and I scored a band tee from my stepsons' band, but I managed to not buy anything, which is pretty highly unusual in such a shopping mecca.
I was pretty underwhelmed by the offerings in stores I normally drool over, but I'm also getting pickier. I must be growing up -- some shops that I loved a few years ago seem a bit unsophisticated for my style now.
I was disappointed at IRO. My blue leather moto is so soft and such a great part of my wardrobe, I thought I might find something there because they were having a good sale. But it seems they've changed their sizing -- not only have they adopted a European sizing scale, the cuts seem smaller overall -- the sleeves were tight even when sizing up, and the leathers felt stiffer.
Still, it was fun wandering all around Soho and the surrounding areas. We found some great-looking jeans for my hubs that are actually LONG enough for him, which is a major accomplishment.
