I so badly want to emulate this outfit, head to toe!

This blog post from Alterations Needed was linked to on AlreadyPretty this week, and I just fell in love with the outfit. I don't think a white blazer is on my must-have list - I know I just would get it dirty instantly, knowing my clumsy tendencies - but oh boy, this gave me motivation to go out and seek a vest that actually buttons, so I can try to put together a similar look with my own pieces. (My existing vests, sadly, are too small now - they were purchased 3-4 years ago when I was considerably slimmer and less chestier.)

I love everything about this outfit, even though the muted/pastel colors do not exist in my wardrobe and are usually not my thing at all. Just beautiful.

Super nice look, I agree! I have been haunting thrift stores looking for a vest like this, too. The junior sizes are too small and the misses small are too large/boxy.I guess that's why hers was altered for the perfect fit! I love the way her blazer is fitted and open and shows just the right amount of the vest.

Kari, I could definitely see you wearing this. I'm not sure what your stance is on buying "trendy" or "low wear" items, but I'll bet you could find an affordable white blazer and vest if you keep them on your watch list. So many sales now.

Also, I think you would look beautiful in that lavender hue.

I know, I loved this look too! I've been searching for a white blazer all summer. Vests are even tougher. I can see how she ended up spending $60 to have that cute vest tailored. There's just nothing out there like that in petite sizes.
