I should return these... but I don't wanna...K/R Una's ombre jeans?

When Una's Current & Elliott ombre jeans came back in my size - on clearance, plus discount - the bargain hunter in me pounced. And I love them! Soft, premium denim that isn't cropped on me, in a neutral color...

But I already have three ombre items, and I already have faded black Gap jeggings. The girl who's been on a purging rampage says to return them because they aren't different enough. The girl who usually feels she is out of sync with trends says to upgrade to the premium denim version now, while the style is still available. The burgundy ombre are $20 thin junior's jeans.

What to DO? I am so indecisive these days!

They seem pretty different ffrom your other items to me. I would keep them (sorry for being an enabler).

Rae -- you should keep the jeans and I'll tell you why. If you are digging the ombre thing you should go with it. It's like having striped shirts, patterned jeans or a boyfriend jacket. Are you really only going to have one striped shirt. Isn't it true that a red striped shirt behaves differently than a pink striped shirt even if they are exactly the same cut? Of course. These jeans aren't distressed like #4. They aren't red like #3 and they aren't a skirt like #5. Keep them because they are and upgrade, they fit well and they say something about your love of ombre right now-- while it may be a trend I think it's a part of who you are as far as style.

I think they are pretty different too -- and I would consider it an upgrade of the burgundy ones.

I think you should keep them too, if you love the ombre trend. They look plenty different from your other items to me, plus they will likely last much longer than the burgundy ones (I tried those on after you and Mary got them, and the fabric was so thin I couldn't deal).

Also, skinnies that are actually long enough to scrunch are a rare breed these days.

I think you answered your own question when you said "I don't wanna" return them. If you love something, DON'T set it free.

They look good on you, you love them, KEEP. I don't see the problem of having already 3 ombre items (though the gap jeggings don't look very ombre to me). Plus if you wear them with tall boots you won't even know they are ombre so that makes them versatile.

Considering I cannot find even one ombré item that works on me, I'd say keep! You love the trend, and they look great on you.

I say keep. Your burgundy ones won't translate as well for spring and summer. These? Absolutely perfect. So really, you aren't duplicating.

I am seconding Day Vies. They are different enough. The onyl thing similar, to my eye, is the ombre styling at all. While the burgundy ones have the same ombre shading, they are different in look and cut and color.

You love them, they fit you well, and you look spectacular. I think you should keep them.

I'd keep them, but purge a similar item of lesser quality (perhaps the $20 junior ones).

These look great on you and you know you will wear them, so I also say keep! I find burgundy pants difficult to style so I'm guessing these will prove way more versatile. Love this pair!

You must keep them! They are so cool. I really like the burgundy ones but these are totally different.

PS did you order your normal size in C/E? I have a two pairs of C/E tuxedo jeans on the way to try out.

Thanks, ladies. I think I will keep them and purge some other low quality skinnies I have. I am lucky to have you when I don't know if I am just being greedy or not, lol.

Rita, I sized up one size, and that seemed to do the trick for me. I have a larger rear view, so I sometimes do this with a super skinny/jegging type fit.

Hey, you got them! Keep! My only warning is that mine stretched after wearing a couple of hours and started to slip, but that may be because I have no booty...

I think purging a few lesser pairs is a fab plan to make room for these.
