I have a fair sized wardrobe so there's no need for me to buy anything else right now and so I decided it was time to shop my own wardrobe for some summer outfit ideas. Here's what I came up with:

1 - 2 ) Although the denim knee-length skirt is a fairly recent addition these 2 toppers are definitely not.
The pink floral is at least 8 years old and the navy stripe was bought 2 years ago. The straw tote bag is over 5 years old. Merrill sandals bought back in the early spring.

3) Uniqlo tan midi skirt was thrifted last year, black Uniqlo linen top was bought in February of this year. Necklace was a gift from my son on his trip to Spain last year.

4) Cropped grey cotton wide legs are 3 years old, white peasant-style top over 4 years old. Black tote bag was a gift- hand made by my BFF several years ago.

5) Btw this is the outfit from one of Angie's recent post that inspired the last outfit in photo 4.

6) Everyday errand outfit, linen/cotton blend wide-leg crops now 6 years old and striped tee 4 years old. Spenco flip flops over 5 years old.

My older pieces are holding up pretty good but its probably because I have a fairly large wardrobe, so things don't get worn out quickly and I also tend to buy a lot of classics that can be mixed with the trendy, so they don't date as easily.
